Description Colt 1911A1 chambered in .45 ACP with one unmarked magazine and a 5″ Colt barrel. Blued U.S. Property marked Colt frame with serial number 2260040 dating it to 1945. Diamond checkered composite grips and lanyard loop. Manual thumb safety and beavertail grip safety. Blued Colt slide serialized 954134 dating it to 1943. Fixed iron sights. The left side of the frame is marked with a G.H.D. inspector proof. The right side of the frame is marked with a Springfield Armory acceptance proof and “UNITED STATES PROPERTY”, “M1911A1 U.S.ARMY”. The left side of the frame, top of the slide, and barrel are marked with “P”. The barrel also has a “M” proof mark. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Excellent as being reblued over military parkerized finish and assembled using mixed parts. The gun has been fully reblued with most of the proofs/lettering still being visible but some what faded, mainly the Springfield Armory proof. Overall the gun shows light scratches and wear from normal handling and operation. The grips still have good texturing with some scratches and small worn spots. Clean rifled bore.
