Serial number 51915 and Navy serial number 2753. Patinated blued finish. Checkered trigger guard magazine release button. Sporterized with replaced checkered Monte Carlo style stock. MISSING the rear sight and bolt. The top of the receiver ring is marked “U. S. N” over Anchor over “No 2753” over “W. W. K.”. The top of the receiver is marked “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, ILION, N Y, U.S.A. SOLE MANUFACTURERS AND AGENTS”. The left side of the receiver is marked “PATENTED NOV.4TH 1879”.
