Description The first, a plain, but late 18th / Early 19th Century horn with blacksmithed nails, wood cap, and excellent patina. 11″ overall. no markings. Together with a large Folk Art Scrimshaw decorated horn decorated with Thistle, Sun, moon, Stars, Stone Walls, Cannon, and buildings bearing an flag that may have been a british Union Jack, than changed to another almost American Flag. There is an ownership or presentation cartouche that was defaced and partially removed. Age and origin unknown, but likely 19th Century. 16″ overall, cap missing.
