Description Finnish Tikka SY Civil Guard M28 Mosin Nagant chambered in 7.62x54mmR with a five round internal magazine and a 27″ barrel. Imported by Marathon, marked on the barrel. Font bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Blued barrel, octagonal receiver, magazine, and rigger guard. Unfinished bolt with straight handle and rear twist knob safety. Adjustable curved rear sight and protected front blade. Smooth wood forend and straight grip stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling slots. The top of the barrel shank is marked with “SY” Civil Guard mark and Tikka stamp. The left side of the barrel is stamped with Finnish [SA] stamp and “<-R->” inspector stamp. The right side of the barrel shank is marked with a partial Suojeluskuntain Yliesikunta acceptance stamp. Mismatched and force matched parts. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Internal wear from operation and use. Spots of finish thinning/loss and patina. Varying spots of metal oxidation. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the stock. Bright bore with strong rifling, some light frosting of metal oxidation.
