Description Smith & Wesson U.S. Army Model 1917 Double Action chambered in .45 ACP with a six-shot cylinder and a 5.5″ barrel. Blued barrel, frame, fluted cylinder, and checkered cylinder release. Case colored double action trigger and hammer. Smooth wood grips and metal lanyard loop. Rear notch and fixed front blade. The left side of the barrel is marked “S&W D A 45”. he underside of the barrel is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY”. The bottom of the frame is marked “U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 No 92505”. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Very Good with light scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Some finish thinning on the contact points. Metal contact marks on the bottom of the frame and trigger guard. Some finish wear near the muzzle. Cylinder turn line and light operational wear. Light scratches and dings on the grips.
