Description Smith & Wesson K-22 (Pre-17) .22 Long Rifle with a six round capacity and a 6″ narrow rib barrel. S&W smooth wood grip plates. In the style of, possibly authentic, Russ J. Smith, Blued, engraved trigger guard, frame, cylinder and barrel. Case colored serrated trigger and checkered hammer. Comes with a factory letter from Roy Jinks the Smith & Wesson historian. Historian Jinks eludes that the letter request mentioned a former S&W employee owned and possibly have Russ Smith Engrave. However the engraver is not confirmed and no signature was found. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Excellent as highly engraved with light scuffs and handling wear. Cylinder face has some unusal marks that were made prior to engrvaing.
