Description Smith and Wesson .38/44 Heavy Duty revolver chambered in .38 Spl with a 4″ barrel. Post-War transitional model before the Model 23. Features customized non-matching, S&W hardwood grips. Blued frame, barrel, cylinder, and crane. Case colored checkered hammer, and serrated trigger. Missing cylinder release latch. Must ship to a C&R holder or FFL. Condition: Good, with heavy finish wear on cylinder and top of the frame. Some finish loss on the sides of the muzzle and high edges. Some oxidation and small mark of rust on two of the cylinder grooves and left side of the frame behind trigger. Clean rifled bore.
