Description Steyr M1886 Kropatschek chambered in 8x56mm Kropatchek with a eight round tubular magazine and a 32″ barrel. Front side bayonet lug and cleaning rod. Blued barrel, bands, receiver, trigger, and trigger guard. Straight bolt handle and rear flag style safety. Receiver mounted magazine cutoff lever. Adjustable rear tangent sight and fixed front blade. Smooth wood straight grip stock with full length forend and metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels. The left side of the receiver is marked “CE.W.F.G. STYER”. The center of the receiver is marked with the monarch’s cypher. Monarch cypher and manufacture mark is stamped on the sides of the stock. Mismatched parts. Antique, ships directly to buyers home in MOST states. Condition: Antique good with patina and darkening on most of the finish. Spots of metal oxidation. Scratches, sharp edge wear, and general wear from handling/operation. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the stock. A few small thin cracks in the stock. Heavier metal oxidation on the butt plate. Some spots of pitting on the cleaning rod. The bore is decently bright with strong visible rifling, spotting and frosting of metal oxidation.
