Description Steyr Model 1912/61 in 7.62x51mm NATO which is .308 with a five round capacity and a 23.5″ barrel. Made in Austria as the Steyr Model 1912 and then converted by the Chilean Military to 7.62x51mm NATO in 1961. Import marked on the front of barrel by C.A.I. ST. ALB. VT. Finish worn blued butt plate. Smooth wood stock and front forend. Finish worn blued trigger guard, trigger, receiver and barrel. Rear bolt safety switch. Rear left side of receiver bolt release lever. Under barrel fixed bayonet lug. Rear flip up adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Metal loops and a leather shoulder sling. Serial number matching on the receiver and wood stock. Mismatched serial number on bolt. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with scratches, wood dings, finish wear/loss and handling wear. Clean rifled bore with very weak rifling.
