Description Pre Ban Springfield Armory model SAR-48 FAL semi auto rifle chambered in 7.62mm (.308). This rifle features a 22-1/2″ barrel with ported break, two piece ported synthetic forearm, unnumbered bolt and lower receiver and composite stock with rubber butt. The right side of the receiver is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY, GENESCO, IL USA”. The left side is stamped “SAR-48 / 7.62mm SA-2292x”. The right side of the mag well is marked ‘1005-SA-48-MATCH” and bears the Springfield Armory cross cannon emblem. Condition: Overall condition Very Good with wear to the receiver from the charging handle and wear around the ejection port from case ejection. A picatinny rail has been added to the top cover. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and the action functions as expected.
