Description Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 with a eight round clip fed magazine and a 24″ National Match marked barrel. The receiver was manufactured in 1943 with serial number 1557552. The barrel was manufactured by Springfield Armory in 1966 and marked “SA 6535448 3 66 md60 P”. Parkerized finish with smooth wood stock and forend. Trigger guard safety. Checkered trap door butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels with mounted leather sling. Adjustable rear peep sight and fixed front sight post. The bolt is marked “D28287-19SA A-10”. Clips are not included. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with general scratches, scuffs, and handling/operational wear. Varying small spots of pitting and metal oxidation. The receiver and some other small parts have been re-parkerized and show pitting/metal oxidation under the finish. The lettering on the receiver is still visible but is dull and filled in from being refinished. General spots of finish loss/patina mainly on the contact points, high edges, and gas tube. Varying scratches, scuffs, and dings across the wood. Heavy spot of scratches/scuffs on the right side of the butt stock. The toe of the stock was cracked at some point and repaired. Decent bore has strong visible rifling but is a little dark and shows spots of surface metal oxidation.
