Description Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield with an eight round en bloc clip fed internal magazine and a 24″ barrel. The barrel is Springfield Armory made and dated 1963. The receiver is dated to 1942 with serial number 533872. Parkerized finish with wood stock and top handguard. The receiver underneath the stock is marked “R E P 2 5 A”, “D 29291-14”. Springfield Armory operating rod marked “D35382 3 SA”. Springfield Armory bolt marked “D28287-12SA S-B10 (Diamond)”. SA trigger group marked “D28290-7-SA”. The hammer is marked “5546008 HR G”. Winchester trigger guard marked “C 46025 W.R.A.”. Adjustable rear sight and protected front blade. Comes with a M1 bayonet shortened from a M1905 bayonet to a new 10″ blade. The left side of the ricasso is marked with “S A” over flaming bomb proof over “1919”. The right side of the ricasso is marked with “US” over “1066836” AND “U.F.H.” stamped over the serial number. The bayonet also includes a green scabbard with Flaming Bomb proof and “U.S.”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, contact marks, and general handling wear. Patina/Darkening and discoloration on the finish. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. The wood was sanded and refinished at some point. Small thin crack on the top of the front forend. Decently bright bore with light spots and frosting of metal oxidation. Strong visible rifling.
