Description Springfield Armory M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a eight round en-block clip fed internal magazine and a 24″ Harrington Richardson barrel. The receiver is dated to 1945 with serial number 3724613. The barrel is dated to 1952 and marked “HRA D6535448 7-52 RS1 P M”. Parkerized barrel and gas tube with bayonet lug. Parkerized SA operating rod and receiver. The rear of the receiver is marked “U.S. RIFLE CAL .30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 3724613”. The right side of the receiver underneath the wood is marked “0 8 8 B Z” and “D 28291 S5”. Adjustable rear aperture sight. The operating rod is marked “6535382 SA”. Springfield Armory bolt marked “D28287-18SA A-4(Diamond)”. SA trigger group marked “D28290-12-SA”. Smooth wood top forend and pistol grip stock with metal trap door butt plate. Front and rear sling swivel with mounted fabric sling. The bottom of the pistol grip is marked 77 in black. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair having been re-parkerized with pitting under the finish and faded markings on the rear of the receiver. General scratches, contact marks, and cosmetic handling wear. Spots of finish patina and discoloration. Varying scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood, most of it is on the top forend. Some thin cracks on the top forend, does not appear to effect integrity of the wood. The bore has some light frosting of metal oxidation with strong visible rifling.
