Description Smith & Wesson Number 3 Russian 1st Model in .44 S&W Russian with a six round capacity and a 8″ barrel. Smooth wood grip plates. Finish worn trigger guard, trigger, frame, knurled hammer, cylinder and barrel. Rear top of barrel located knurled top break lever. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Bottom of frame missing lanyard loop. Two serial groups make up this revolver. Matching serial number on the bottom of frame and the reverse side of right grip plate marked: 25195. Serial number matching on the cylinder face, top latch and barrel is illegible but clearly shows one of the numbers, the number 8 which is not matching to the frame. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique, Good with scratches, finish wear/loss, wood dings, damaged screws, rust and handling wear.
