Description Smith & Wesson Number 3 Russian 3rd Model ( New Model Russian ) in .44 S&W Russian with a six round capacity and a 6.5″ barrel. Made in Springfield Massachusetts in 1874. Smooth wood grip plates with serial number stamped on the underside right plate matching to the gun. Finish worn blued trigger guard with spur, trigger, frame, cylinder and barrel. Top of barrel knurled top break lever. Cylinder with ejector. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Serial number matching on the bottom of frame, top rear of barrel, underside of right grip plate, cylinder face and underside top of barrel. Top of barrel has S&W Cyrillic marking and Russian Double Eagle H K proof with serial number. Rear left side of frame is marked: 06P 1874. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers homes. Condition: Antique, Very Good with scratches, wood damage to the right plate, finish wear/loss and light rust. Very Clean rifled bore.
