Description Wildey-owned S&W Hand Ejector 4th Model of 1950, Pre Model 24 Revolver in .44 Smith & Wesson Special with a six round capacity and the rare 4″ barrel. N frame, Custom made premium wood grip plates. Blued frame, cylinder and barrel. Case colored serrated Target trigger and checkered Target hammer. Left side of frame checkered cylinder release. Rear adjustable and front fixed blade sight. Very rare 4″ barrel on this Hand Ejector. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good/Very Good with light scratches, tiny wood chips, Muzzle wear, edge finish wear. Heavier turn line on the cylinder. Clean rifled bore. Wildey Moore References this revolver in his autobiography “Wildey’s Here”, Page 21, as the gun that he openly carried while working at Ed Argamonte’s Shop in Yonkers New York. Wildey worked in the firearms business since the 1950’s as a gunsmith, Ed Argamonte’s, as a Salesman for Winchester, Stoeger, J.J. Tobler and Forenade Fabrikverken. Eventually setting out on his own to design and create the Wildey Survivor. The Survivor was most famously featured in the classic 1985 Movie Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.
