Description Smith & Wesson American Model 3 2nd Model Single Action in .44 S&W with a six round capacity and a 8″ barrel. Smooth wood grip plates. Finish worn blued trigger guard, trigger, frame, cylinder and barrel. Case colored hammer. Top of barrel knurled top break lever. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Serial number 18006 is on the bottom of the frame and is matching to the reverse side of the right grip plate. Serial number on the frame under the grip is 964 and is also on the face of cylinder, barrel and top break lever. Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique, Good/Very Good with scratches, finish wear/loss, light rust/pitting, lightly damaged screws and handling wear. The rifled bore has a few light spots of rust/pitting with visible rifling.
