Description Smith & Wesson 44 Double Action New Model Number 3 in .44 S&W Russian with a six round capacity and a 5″ barrel. Made in Springfield Massachusetts between 1881 and 1913. Checkered composite grip plates. Blued trigger guard. Case colored trigger and knurled hammer. Nickel finished frame, cylinder and barrel. Top of frame knurled barrel tip up lever. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Serial number matching on the bottom of pistol grip, face of cylinder and top underside of barrel. Frames made prior to 1898 and ATF Classified as-Antique, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Antique, Very Good with scratches, light finish wear and rust.
