Description Smith & Wesson Model 36-1 ( Chiefs Special ) in .38 Special with a five round capacity and a 2″ barrel. This was a revolver bought in the 1980s from a Police Auction here in Connecticut. Comes with the transfer paper for that sale. Made in Springfield Massachusetts between 1967-1968. Checkered wood grip plates. Blued frame, cylinder and barrel. Case colored serrated trigger and knurled hammer. Left side of frame knurled cylinder release. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Left side of frame scribed with 0160 K-1 MR 84 and a few illegible marks. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Fair with scratches, finish wear/loss and handling wear. Clean rifled bore.
