Model 53 Smith & Wesson Model 53 Centerfire Magnum in .22 Remington Jet with a six round capacity and a 6″ barrel. Made in Springfield Massachusetts between 1961 and 1974. Smooth Goncalo Alves grip plates. Blued frame, cylinder and barrel. Case colored serrated Target trigger and checkered Target hammer. Rear Target adjustable and front fixed blade sight. The hammer has a selectable firing pin they lets you change between rimfire and centerfire rounds. Comes in factory box with matching serial number, includes 5 cylinder inserts needed to fire .22 Short, Long or Long Rifle. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Fair with light scratches and spots of heavier rust. The 53 has light rust to the very inside tip of the rifled bore and the 14-3 has a clean rifled bore. SOLD AS-IS.
