Description Smith & Wesson 38 Military & Police Pre Model 10 in .38 S&W Special with a six round capacity and a 6″ barrel. Made in Springfield Massachusetts between 1948 and 1951. Checkered factory monogram wood grip plates with matching serial number on the back of the right grip plate. Blued frame, cylinder and barrel. Serrated case colored trigger and knurled hammer. Left side of frame knurled cylinder release. Rear notch and front fixed blade sight. Serial number matching on frame, cylinder face, underside of barrel and reverse side of right grip plate. Comes in its factory gold box with written matching serial number on bottom of box. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder. Condition: Good with light scuffs and spots of light rust. Clean rifled bore.
