Description Colt Python chambered in .357 magnum with a six-shot cylinder and a 6″ vented and ribbed barrel. Three digit serial number 556 dated to the second year of production in 1956. Features a Royal blued barrel, receiver, fluted cylinder, and controls. Serrated trigger with crisp pull and textured hammer. Diamond checkered wood grips with Gold Rampant Colt medallions. Fixed blade front sight. The rear sight has been removed and a Bushnell Phantom II 1.3x scope has been drilled and tapped into the top of the frame. Must ship to FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Very good with some scratches, marks, and general cosmetic handling wear. Some finish wear/loss on either sides of the muzzle. Some finish wear on the sharp edges. Cylinder turn line and normal operational wear. Light scratches and wear on the grips. The top of the receiver has been drilled and tapped. Bright and clean bore with strong visible rifling.
