Description World War Two (WWII) U.S. Property marked Savage No 4 MKI* Enfield chambered in .303 British with a ten round removable magazine and a 25″ barrel with bayonet lug. Imported by IAC, marked on the left side of the grip band. Parkerized barrel, bands, receiver, bolt, magazine, trigger, and trigger guard. Adjustable rear sight and protected front blade sight. Rear receiver safety lever and trigger guard paddle magazine release. Ribbed wood top forend and smooth wood stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels with fabric sling. The top of the receiver is marked “U.S.PROPERTY” and the left side of the receiver is marked “No 4 MKI*”. The left side of the stock band is marked 35C5787 S 1942 (Flaming Bomb Proof) (IAC Import Mark). Serial number matching receiver and bolt. Comes with spike bayonet marked VNS TRM2. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, scuffs, and normal finish wear from handing. Some light Spots/speckling of metal oxidation. Some finish patina/discoloration. Scratches, dings, and light gouges on the stock. Bright and clean rifled bore. Some pitting and finish loss on the bayonet.
