Savage model 1899 in .38-55 with a six round internal rotary magazine capacity and a 26″ barrel. Metal butt plate. Wood stock and front foregrip. Blued receiver, lever, trigger and barrel. Adjustable rear sight and front fixed brass blade. This rifle is mounted with an aftermarket adjustable flip up “Lyman” peep hole sight. Must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Good with scuffs, scratches and wear throughout. The wood butt stock has a crack on the right side with a brass screw as a repair. Brass front sight blade has oxidation. The receiver has been refinished at some point, with pitting under the finish. The rifled bore has a grain to it.
