Description Finnish Sako Civil Guard M24 Mosin Nagant chambered in 7.62x54r with a five round internal magazine and a 31.5″ SIG barrel. Manufactured between 1924 and 1928, and imported by Century Arms C.A.I., marked on the barrel. Blued barrel, barrel bands, and end cap with cleaning rod. Konovalov style adjustable curved rear sight and blade front sight. Blued hexagon receiver with unfinished bolt and twist knob bolt safety. Smooth wood top/bottom forend with forend finger splice and straight stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels with cloth sling. Swiss SIG barrel marked “Schweiz-Industrie Gesellschaft Neuhausen”. The barrel shank is also marked with the SAKO workshop stamp and [SA] property mark, “D. Imperial Russian stamp on the top of the receiver, and other small parts. The barrel shank and receiver are serial number matching with multiple serial numbers being crossed out. The rest of the parts are mismatched. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair/Good with general wear from handling, operation, and age. Spots of finish loss and finish patina. Various spots and speckling of metal oxidation on most of the metal parts. Scratches, scuffs, and dings in the wood. Gouge on the top of the cheek of the stock.
