World War 2 Saginaw SG M1 Carbine chambered in .30 Carbine with a 18″ barrel. The barrel is manufactured by Underwood, dated to 8-43 and marked with Flaming Bomb proof. The receiver was manufactured in 1943 with serial number 1819760. Protected front blade sight and rear early peep sight. Type 1 barrel band with mounted canvas sling. Type 2 straight belly stock with high wood and oval oiler cut with oiler. Early two rivet top handguard. Early flat top style bolt. Cross bolt push button safety. Parkerized finish. NO MAGAZINE INCLUDED. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Normal wear on the moving/internal parts from operation. Spots of finish darkening, thinning, and general patina on the metal parts. Some spots of metal oxidation. The wood has been sanded and refinished. The top of the handguard has been sanded flat.
