Manufactured in Russia and imported by PW ARMS, marked on the left side of the receiver. Arsenal refurbished with “r” marked 1940r date code. Mix of black and blued finish with round low wall receiver and blued refurb bolt channel. Unfinished bolt with twist knob safety. Adjustable sights with rear ladder sight and shrouded front sight post. Wood forend with cleaning rod and black painted caps. Grooved wood straight grip stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling slots with mounted fabric sling. Matching barrel shank, bolt, magazine floorplate, and butt plate. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Fair having being an arsenal refurb. Cosmetically good, with the finish shows some scratches, scuffs, dings, and spots of finish loss. Heavy metal oxidation on the butt plate and under the rear sight. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. Toe splice on the stock. Very dark and heavily rusted bore, shows strong rifling.
