Receiver dated to 1942-1943 with serial number 1723723. Type 1 barrel band missing the sling swivel and marked “M-R”. High wood stock with early two rivet handguard. The stock has been sanded and is missing most of its markings. Early war bolt and push button safety. Late war adjustable rear sight. Fixed shrouded front sight.
