Remington model 95 Type II (aka Model 3) 4th variation numbered 982 and chambered in .41 rimfire. Manufactured between 1888-1911 with about 80,000 produced this features barrel markings in a single line on top of barrel and reads REMINGTON ARMS Co., ILION, N.Y. taking not of the small “o” in “Co”. Condition: The finish is all but gone on this example and the surface does have some scattered light pitting There are some traces of finish on the spur trigger. The hinge is NOT cracked. The bores are slightly frosted but not dark and show distinct rifling. The genuine natural grips, which are the main feature of this pistol, are in excellent condition.
