New Old Stock Bolt Action Rifle: Remington Model 700 Classic chambered for 35 Whelen. Discovered in the basement of a dealers estate and as new with original matching box, papers, hang tags, etc. 22″ bbl, jeweled bolt, walnut pistol grip stock. Box has a moldy smell and is crispy. The gun had some whitish mold when we found it, and we have since carefully cleaned it, including in the checkering. There are a few very small areas of settled rust in the screw grooves, but the finish, bore and action all are rust-free.
