Remington model 40X in .22 long rifle with a single shot capacity and a 28″ barrel. Heavy aluminum removable butt plate, light wear, a few small dings otherwise clean. Wood one piece stock has a few scuffs, dings and small scratches throughout with a larger scuff on the left side towards the front end. Receiver and bolt, small scratches light wear. Bolt has matching serial number. Heavy barrel with light scratches, and a very small spot of hard contact to the muzzle, right side. Mounted with two rails for attaching optics. The rear rail is a bit chewed up from hard contact with mounting hardware. No front sight attached, holes for mounting one intact. Very clean rifled bore and smooth bolt action. This single shot bolt action rifle must ship to a FFL or C&R holder.
