Very late, February 1944 US Remington 03-A3. Appears all original with correct sight, matching bolt, buttplate, etc. The top of the receiver is marked “U.S./REMINGTON/MODEL 03-A3” over the serial number and the barrel is marked “RA/flaming bomb/11-43”. The rifle has the correct barrel bands, trigger guard and follower. It has the military style rear sight and blade front sight without a cover. No bayonet.The receiver and barrel are green parkerized while the remaining metal parts are blue. The stock and handguard are both walnut with the left side marked with a “RA Crossed Cannon” cartouche and boxed “FJA” proofs with various sub inspector proofs in front of the trigger guard. Steel buttplate with cleaning rod compartment (rod not included).

Very good condition. Wood has stray marks, imprints, and military grade handling marks. Inspector marks are worn. Metal surfaces are very good. Mechanically excellent.
