Description ******UPDATE… This Winchester and its 26″ 20 gauge barrel are original and from 1938. It has most likely been serviced by Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company. A second barrel set, 28 gauge, was added to the set and was properly serial number matched to the gun.****** Winchester Model 21 two barrel set chambered for 20 and 28 gauge. Manufactured in 1938 and shipped/inspected in 1939, with a four digit serial number of 8984. The 20 gauge barrels are 26″ WS1/WS2 Winchester proof steel, chambered for 2 3/4″ shells. Choked for Winchester Skeet 1 (right) and Winchester Skeet 2 (left). Dual white bead sights. The 28 gauge barrel is 30″ Winchester Proof Steel chambered for 2 3/4″ shells. The left bore is choked for MOD and the right is choked for IMP CYL. Dual white bead sights. Both barrels are blued and serial number matching. Blued lock, lever, and single selective trigger. Non auto tang mounted safety and auto ejectors. Checkered kidney style beavertail forend and checkered straight pistol grip with rubber butt pad. The forend is serial number matching. Comes with a Winchester Factory Letter from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West at the Cody Firearms Museum. Also comes in a lockable leather case with keys, cleaning brushes, wood rods, four snap caps, and paperwork. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Measurements: LOP @ Heel= 14 1/4″ Drop @ Comb = 1 1/2″ Drop @ Heel = 2 1/2″ Condition: Excellent with 98%+ bluing. Some very light handling/storage wear. Normal internal wear from operation/assembly. Very light scratches/cosmetic wear on the wood. The checkering is still strong and tight. Bright and clean smooth bores. Some finish has been added to the wood.
