Description Portuguese Contract Rifle 937-A German Mauser K98 in 7.92x57mm (8mm) with a five round internal capacity and a 24″ barrel. Made in Germany for Portugal. Metal butt plate. Solid wood stock and front foregrip. Blued receiver, bolt, trigger, guard, magazine floor plate and barrel. Adjustable rear sight and front fixed blade. Left side of bolt safety switch. Left side of receiver bolt release lever. Mounted with two kinds of shoulder strap mounting hardware. Missing its cleaning rod located under the barrel. Top of the receiver marked with the Portuguese crest and the year 1937. No Import marks. Stock Waffenamt marked with three German Eagle Proofs, WaA83 and the serial number. The entire rifle is marked with German proofs and has matching serial numbers on every part including the firing pin and bolt. This bolt action rifle must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
Condition: Very good/Excellent with light scuffs, scratches and handling wear throughout. Very clean rifled bore.
