Blued steel frame with checkered two piece walnut grips and lanyard loop. Blued steel spurred trigger guard, octagonal barrel, round shot barrel, and roll engraved cylinder with gold inlay. Case hardened single action trigger and hammer. Dove tailed front blade sight and rear notch on the hammer. The top of the .44 barrel is roll marked “COL. LEMAT.” with gold inlay.
