Description Pieper Bergmann Bayard 1908 chambered in 9mm Largo with one, six round removable magazine and a 4″ barrel. Blued steel frame with two piece checkered wood grips. Single action trigger and hammer. Rear manual safety lever. Blued barrel and receiver with V-notch rear sight and fixed front blade. Rear textured charging ears. The bottom of the frame is marked with serial 4320. The left side of the receiver is marked “BREVETE S.G.D.G.” “ANGIENS ETABLISSEMENTS PIEPER. HERSTAL-LIEGE BERGMANN’S PATENT.”. The left side of the frame is marked with “Bayard” and Knight on horseback image. This marking is mostly faded. Multiple other small Belgian proof marks. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Poor missing the rear sight extractor, and bolt knob insert. The right side of the bolt knob is sheared off. Most of the finish is heavily patinated with spots of metal oxidation and pitting. Worn grips with scratches and dings. Spots of pitting/metal oxidation throughout the bore with decent visible rifling. SOLD AS-IS.
