This example dating to 1890 features 30″ Damascus barrels choked IMP CYL, concave rib with single bead marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL.”, sculptured barrel bolsters, double triggers, Parker Bros. banners centered around scroll engraving with a pointer scene, and finely checkered walnut forearm and stock with steel butt plate. The barrel flat is marked 3, D, “4 8, 4 C. The underside of the lug is marked 1, the left with 60201. The water table is marked PATD JAN 18 AUG 16 1887, MAY 7-OCT 8 1889, MAR 16 1875. The sides of the frame are marked PARKER BROS On banners. The left lug is marked 3 / 60201 / D. MAR 16 1875. LOP=14″, DOC=1-5/8″, DOH=2-3/8″, OAL=46″, and WT-8 lbs. Antique and ships direct to buyer. Condition: Excellent overall condition showing with the barrels displaying distinct and tight Damascus folds. There is some very light surface oxidation on the receiver which still shows nice case coloring and crisp etch work. The stocks show some light and scattered marks from handling. The bores still shine with evident corrosion marks that are more prominent towards the chambers. The lockup is tight and action functions as expected.
