Description Parker Bros GH Grade 2 chambered in 12 gauge for 2 1/2″ shells with 30″ chain-link Damascus steel side by side solid rib barrels. Manufactured in 1896 with serial number 85522. The left bore diameter is .738 with a 0.033 restriction and the right bore is 0.738 with a 0.039 restriction. In the white case colored engraved box lock and trigger guard. Hammerless with double triggers. Extractors only with tang mounted automatic safety. Silver bead front sight. Checkered splinter forend and pistol grip stock with Parker Bros butt plate. Serial number matching trigger guard, lock, barrel, and forend. The barrel rib is marked “PARKER BROS MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. DAMASCUS STEEL”. Antique, ships directly to buyers home in MOST states. Condition: Antique good with most of the finish being in the white with spots of finish patina. The case coloring is still visible on the water table. The wood was sanded and refinished at some point with a wood repair/fill at the toe. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the wood. The checkering is still present but worn. The bore is decently bright given the age, does show spots and patches of metal oxidation throughout the bore, some small spots of pitting.
