Description Norwegian Kongsberg “Colt” model 1914 chambered in .45 ACP with one, seven round removable magazine and a 5″ barrel. Manufactured in 1925 with serial number 8931. This pistol is closely designed after a Colt 1911 with a few changed features. Such as the extended slide catch that swoops down, and the serialization of most of the parts. On this example the visible parts appear to be all matching. Steel frame with lanyard loop and checkered wood grips. Single action trigger and hammer. Frame mounted manual thumb safety and grip depression safety. Serrated slide with fixed front blade and rear notch iron sights. The left side of the slide is stamped “11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914 No8931”. The right side of the slide is stamped with the date of manufacture 1925. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good showing some light scratches, contact marks, and normal cosmetic handling wear. Finish wear on the high edges and thinning on the contact points such as the front strap. Some wear on the moving parts and internals from normal handling. Some light spots of metal oxidation mainly on the frame under the grips. Light wear on the wood grips, with some darkening.
