Description Japanese Nagoya Arsenal Type 38 Arisaka chambered in 6.5x50mm Arisaka with a five round integral magazine and a 31.5″ barrel. Front bayonet lug, missing the cleaning rod. Blued barrel, receiver, bolt handle, trigger, and trigger guard. Rear knurled safety knob. Adjustable rear sight and protected front blade. Smooth wood forend and pistol grip stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling swivels with mounted sling. The receiver Mum is ground off. The left side of the receiver is stamped with a Series 28 mark, and Nagoya Arsenal mark. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, sharp edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Normal internal wear from operation. Spots and speckling of metal oxidation throughout. Spots of finish thinning/loss and patina. Scratches, scuffs, and dings on the stock. The stock has likely been sanded and refinished at some point. Some contact marks/dents on the front sight protectors. Bright and clean bore with strong rifling. The bolt operation is a bit sticky.
