Description Extremely rare and desirable MB Associates Mark I, Model B 13 mm GyroJet Rocket Pistol. Made famous in the James Bond thriller You Only Live Twice, the GyroJet concept used a proprietary rocket fuel housed in the body of the projectile that propels the projectile through 4 angled ports at the rear with the angle creating spin. This cased example with serial number B210 is one of only a couple of hundred prototypes ever produced making it extremely rare. This is also a pre 1968 example as it is marked 13MM which, after 1968, would have made it a destructive device. This pre 1968 is grandfathered and perfectly legal to transfer as a firearm. This is a polished finish example with 5″ barrel and outfitted with grey pearlesque grips. Included is a hardwood MBA display case and 10 rounds of Gyrojet ammunition. 8 rounds are dummies however two appear to be live and must ship separately. Must Ship to FFL or C&R holder Condition: Very Good showing some light surface freckling on the left side but retaining a nice polished finish on the right. There are signs that this has been fired. The smooth smooth bore shines like a mirror. The hammer will not stay cocked and it appears the sear may be damaged or broken.
