Description Mauser S/42 code P08 Luger chambered in 9mm with two non matching, eight round removable magazines and a 4″ barrel. Date marked 1939 on the top of the chamber. Nickel refinished short type frame with stock lug and non matching checkered wood grips. Wide trigger and narrow trigger guard. Manual thumb safety with “GESICHERT” marking. Nickel refinished barrel and short type receiver. Nickel S/42 marked toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Dorsal fin front blade and rear V-notch iron sights. Many of the the small parts are serial number matching to the frame, but some are not. Some of the non matching parts include the grips, magazines, upper, and front toggle link that has a crossed out 87. One of the magazines has a tin body with a wood base, and the other magazine is a fxo magazine with Waffenamt 37, blued body with plastic base. Comes with a leather holster marked EAR.79 on the inside. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good having been completely refinished with a nickel/chrome finish. Shows spots of pitting and metal oxidation under and on top of the refinish. General scratches and wear from handling/operation. Spots of finish patina. Many of the markings are faded due to being refinished. The wood grips are in good shape with darkening, scratches, and edge/checkering wear. Bright and clean bore with strong visible rifling.
