Mauser P 38 in 9mm with two, eight round removable magazines and a 5″ barrel. Made in Germany, then French Re-worked late in the war, then used by the Austrian Army. Black plastic serrated grip plates. Parkerized finished frame, barrel and slide. Serrated hammer and smooth trigger. Fixed blade sights. Comes with a leather holster. Imported by “CAI” (Century Arms International) out of Vermont. Marked on the left side of frame by trigger a Eagle and a “BH” this is a Austrian Army mark. The right side is marked “Germany”. The right side of the slide has a “Star” mark. The left side has “P.38” “SVW 45”. Front blade sight has a “4” on the left side. Left side of frame by the barrel is marked with a Waffenamt mark “WAA 135”. Magazines are marked different one with “Walther P 38 9MM” and the other is marked “P 38 V 1233” . Barrel is marked “CAI ST A VT 9MM PARA”. The leather holster is in good condition with heavier wear and oxidation on the inside top, marked with a German Nazi Eagle and swastika and maker marked “Karl Bocker 1939 Waldbrol”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder.
Condition: Very good with hard edge wear to the finish and light scuffs and scratches. Very clean rifled bore.
