Description UPDATE: Likely re-blued per 1920 “Factory Rework” with thirty groove grip plates stamped 12989 on the reverse sides and NS proofed hammer. Mauser C96 “Red 9″ model chambered in 9mm with a ten round internal clip fed magazine and a 5.5” barrel. Blued steel frame with stock cut, lanyard loop and ribbed Red 9 carved wood grips. Blued single action trigger and unfinished hammer. Manual thumb safety at the rear of the frame. Blued barrel and upper with serrated charging ears. Adjustable 500 meter rear tangent sight and fixed front blade. The left side of the upper is marked with Crown U stamp and “Germany” export stamp. The top of the barrel is marked WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF FA/N. The right side of the barrel is marked with 1920 date and (S). All visible serial numbers appear to be matching. Comes with a reproduction wood stock/holster. The stock has been stamped aftermarket to match the pistol serial number. The stock has poor fitment to the pistol and wobbles. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, metal dings, sharp edge wear, and general wear from handling/operation. Spots and speckling of metal oxidation throughout.
