Description Mauser C96 chambered in 7.63x25mm Mauser with a ten round internal clip fed magazine and a 5.5″ barrel. Manufactured between 1911 and 1915 with serial number 242247. Blued steel frame with stock lug, lanyard loop, and ribbed wood grips. Fire blue finished single action trigger and unfinished hammer. Fire blued rear mounted manual safety lever. Blued barrel and slide. Stainless bolt and serrated charging bolt ears. Fire blued adjustable rear tangent sight and fixed front blade. Unfinished bolt with fire blued extractor. The left side of the frame is marked with the Mauser logo. The right side of the frame is marked “WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A NECKAR”. Crown “U” proof on the side of barrel extension and bolt. Crown over circled images proof marks on the right side of the barrel with “NP” mark. The right side of the upper appears to be marked “NOT ENGLISH MAKE”. Matching serial number on the bolt, barrel extension, frame, lock, and hammer. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with some scratches, contact marks, and general cosmetic wear from handling. Light spots and speckling of metal oxidation. Some spots of finish patina and thinning. Light scratches and wear on the pistol grip. The bore has a frosting of rust throughout, but still shows strong visible rifling.
