Description Mauser 42 Code P08 Luger chambered in 9mm with one non matching blued magazine with aluminum base, and a 4″ barrel. The receiver, barrel and extractor are dated to 1940 with a four digit serial 4602. The frame has a three digit serial 360z, with the rest of the small parts appearing to match with two-digit 60. Blued steel frame with stock lug and checkered non matching wood grips. Manual thumb safety with “GESICHERT” marking. Wide trigger and narrow trigger guard. Blued barrel and late short type receiver. Dorsal fin blade front sight and V-notch rear sight. Blued “42” marked toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. The right side of the receiver and barrel are marked with Third Reich eagle. The right side of the receiver is marked with double Waffenamt 655. The left side of the barrel is marked with Waffenamt 655. Third Reich Eagle on the breech block. The bottom of the magazine is marked with Waffenamt 655. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, high edge wear, and general handling wear. Varying spots of metal oxidation on most of the metal parts. Spots of finish patina. Finish wear near the muzzle. Thinning on the contact points such as the forestrap, backstrap, and trigger guard.
