Description Erfurt 1914 P08 Luger chambered in 9mm with one, matching tin body, wood base magazine, and a 4″ barrel. Manufactured in 1918 (marked on the top of the receiver) with serial number 8647I. Rust blued late short frame with stock lug and matching checkered wood grips. The ejector, magazine catch, release, takedown lever, thumb safety, and trigger are straw colored. “GESICHERT” marked manual thumb safety. Rust blued barrel and receiver. Rust blued toggle with flat checkered toggle knobs. Dorsal fin front blade and rear V-notch iron sights. The barrel, frame, and receiver are serial number matching with the full serial number. The rest of the small parts are serial number matching with two digit 47, making this pistol all matching. Crown over letter proofs on the left side of the receiver, front of the trigger guard, and right side of the trigger. Crown proofs and eagle proof on the barrel. Crown over RC proof, three letter inspection mark, and eagle proof on the right side of the receiver. Eagle proof on the left side of the breech block. Crown proofs on the front and rear toggle links. Crown over ERFURT marking on top of the toggle with “47” marking to the right. Comes with a World War 2 era gjh 42 leather holster marked “P.08” and WaA668 Waffenamt. Carved in the back of the holster is “FW” “FRANK J WADHL” “Co l 357” “40TH” “DiV”. Luger takedown tool included in the holster. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good/Very good with scratches, high edge wear, and general cosmetic handling wear. Varying spots of metal oxidation and finish patina. The straw parts are mostly in the white. Wear on the internal/moving parts from normal operation. Light wear on the grips and checkering. The color of the grips have darkened. Bright bore with strong rifling, has some small spots of metal oxidation.
