Description French MAS Model 36 bolt action rifle chambered in 7.5×54 French. This carbine length rifle features a 23″ barrel with hooded fixed front and tangent rear sight, wartime finished receiver and 3 piece hardwood stock with steel butt plate. The numbers matching parts include bolt, trigger guard, floor plate and butt stock. There is a faint and sanded number under the forearm that does not appear to match. Included is a period sling and the integral bayonet. Ships to FFL/C&R.
Condition: Overall Very Good condition with some evidence of sanding. There is some finish loss on the high spots. The bore has some dark streaks in the grooves but the rifling is distinct. The action functions as expected.
