Description French MAS MLE 1936 chambered in 7.5mm French with a five round magazine and a 22.6″ barrel. Manufactured in France and imported by C.A.I., marked on the left side of the frame. Spike bayonet socketed into the front of the rifle. Parkerized barrel, receiver, magazine, and bolt handle. Adjustable rear sight and fixed hooded front blade. Smooth wood top/bottom forend and stock with metal butt plate. Front and rear sling mounts. Matching serial number on the receiver, bolt handle, trigger guard, forend, and stock. The magazine is mismatched. “MAS MLE1936 K47598”. Must ship to a FFL or C&R holder. Condition: Good with scratches, sharp edge wear, and general finish wear from handling/storage. Some finish loss and patina. Some scratches and dings in the wood. The tang of the stock behind the receiver is missing a chunk on the right side with another previous wood repair in the middle.
