Lee Enfield model No.4 MK1 in .303 British with a ten round removable magazine and a 25″ barrel. Brass butt plate with door for cleaning rod is empty, moderate wear, scuffs and scratches. Wood butt stock has been refinished at some point and has, scuffs, dings and is missing the loop mount and screws for the shoulder strap. Receiver and bolt have been painted green at some point then the paint poorly removed, with scratches and finish wear. Rear adjustable sight in excellent functioning condition, marked “MK3” on the top. Wood barrel covers have been refinished, front one is missing and the rear has grooves made after it left the factory. Barrel has touches of metal oxidation and small scuffs and scratches. Front sight with red paint, light wear otherwise clean. Front barrel band has protruding pins, finish loss and metal oxidation. Smooth bolt action and crisp trigger pull. Rifled bore has a light grain to it with strong rifling. Butt stock underside has a illegible mark. Bottom of magazine is marked “M4209”. Top of receiver is marked “P” “17”. Bolt is marked “O” “B”. Muzzle is marked “.303” “2.22” “18” “5 TONS”. Bottom of foregrip marked “4209”. This bolt action rifle must ship to a C&R or FFL holder.
